Fourth Ward: Winthrop Club

We’ll be celebrating our 50th Anniversary with pizza from the ever-popular Gigio’s at the stunning Winthrop club, Evanston’s premier luxury condo building!
We’ll also be partnering with the Youth Job Center, an organization that equips youth with a plan, a path, and a place to work towards economic independence and build valuable skills in the Evanston Community.

eighth ward Levy Senior Center

Celebrate Northlight’s 50th Anniversary Season with appetizers and wine in the garden or in the Maple room. We’ll also feature members of High Lights, Northlight’s storytelling program, sharing their work.
We’re also partnering with the Levy Senior Center Foundation. For more than 50 years, the Levy Senior Center has been providing outstanding programs and support for thousands of older adults in the community. The Center’s services and programs help Evanston-area older adults remain active, independent, and connected. Bring a new or gently used cookbook which will be donated to guests visiting the Levy Farm Stand.

Celebrate Northlight’s 50th Anniversary Season with cake and ice cream! We’ll be providing sweet treats from Evanston’s own C&W Market.Â
We’re also partnering with the McGaw YMCA. Since 1885, the YMCA in Evanston has provided programs, services, and activities across our community. The Y works to ensure access to resources, relationships, and opportunities for all to learn, grow, and thrive.

Third ward: firehouse grill

Located in a beautifully restored historic firehouse, Firehouse Grill been a neighborhood favorite in Evanston for decades. They’re all about great food, cold drinks, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere where friends, families, and coworkers gather.Â
We’re also supporting ESCCA (Evanston School Children’s Clothing Association)! Bring a warm coat, hat, scarf and/or mittens to the event and we’ll donate them to ESCCA to help keep kids warm this winter. They’re most in need of children’s clothes size 6-8. Check out their wishlist here!

Sixth ward: the fat shallot

The Fat Shallot has an awesome menu with sandwiches, salads, soups, and sides. Whether you’re sticking to a favorite or trying something new, there’s really something for everyone. Join us on Giving Tuesday for appetizers, cocktails, and the chance to give back!
Give back with Northlight on Giving Tuesday! Bring a canned good or other non-perishable food item to the event to make a donation to the Hillside Food Pantry.
Seventh ward: Ten Mile House

A social hub for the thriving Evanston community, Ten Mile House serves thoughtful comfort food and beverages in a vibrant, welcoming setting. Located in the heart of Evanston’s Central Street district, just steps from Northwestern University’s Ryan Field and Welsh-Ryan Arena, Ten Mile House serves an extensive menu featuring wood fired pizza, smoked meats and a diverse selection of comfort food classics and healthy fare.
We’re also supporting Books & Breakfast, a before-school program offering a nutritious breakfast and homework assistance to Evanston students in need of additional support. Fifth Ward: Soul and Smoke

Soul & Smoke is quickly growing into Chicago’s favorite BBQ powerhouse and hidden soul food gem. Through it all, they’ve been obsessed with delivering the boldest, highest-quality barbecue, comfort, and soul food to the people in their community.
Northlight’s event at Soul and Smoke will also support Connections for the Homeless. Connections serves as a safety net for neighbors who need support to maintain safe, stable housing in Evanston and Northern Cook County. Please bring raingear, specifically umbrellas and ponchos, to the event which we will donate to Connections for the Homeless. Visit their website to learn more!
This event will also offer attendees an EXCLUSIVE PREVIEW of our 2026-27 season, the first season taking place in our brand new theatre in downtown Evanston!
First Ward: The Homestead room at the graduate

Whether you’re grabbing a bite after a Northwestern campus visit, meeting friends for dinner, or looking for a cozy corner by a fireplace to unwind, the Graduate Homestead Room serves
something for everyone. Offering a menu that blends comforting classics with global influences, it’s a place where familiar flavors meet creative twists.
Northlight’s event at The Graduate will also support Evanston Animal Shelter. They give companion animals the best chance at the life they deserve through rehabilitation, foster care, adoption, and community support that keeps pets with the people who love them.
Second Ward: Studio5

Studio5 is an intimate performing arts venue bringing dance, music, theater, and film to Chicago’s North Shore. Enjoy an evening of music, comedy, and dance with performances by Steve Rashid, Practical Theatre Company, and the Evanston Dance Ensemble, and learn more about Northlight’s new theatre in downtown Evanston!
Northlight’s event with Studio5 will also support the YWCA of Evanston/North Shore. Bring grocery or gas gift cards, in any amount, which will be donated to the survivors of domestic violence residing at Mary Lou’s Place and Bridges.
