The THEATRE

Northlight Theatre is a non-profit theatre company dating back to its founding in Evanston in 1974. Northlight is a company, but not a building! Northlight has made our home inside the North Shore Center for the Performing Arts in Skokie since 1997. Northlight currently performs in the North Shore Center’s 318-seat space called the “North Theatre.”

As a producing theatre, Northlight is responsible for every aspect of what you see onstage, including:

Play selection
Casting
Directors and Designers
Set Construction
…as well as elements surrounding each production, such as programs, post-show discussions, promotional images, ticket prices, etc.
