Northlight recently announced plans to break ground on our new theatre in downtown Evanston. Scheduled to open in Fall 2026, the new Northlight will be a civic and cultural hub, bringing people together and building a healthier community through art.

The film Ghostlight is a testament to the power of art. Written by, directed by, and starring Chicago stage artists, this homegrown story depicts a construction worker and his family who, after suffering a tragic loss, find solace through a community theatre production. Prior to the movie, guests will hear from Northlight Artistic Director BJ Jones and Ghostlight stars Keith Kupferer and Tara Mallen about the making and meaning of the movie, as well as Northlight’s plans to build community through art in our new home.

Every ticket purchase includes the movie screening as well as the conversation with the artists, a pizza/salad buffet, and two drink selections from the Davis Theater’s full bar.
