At some point during Northlight’s history, a cast and crew decided to mark the closing night of their show by signing the walls of a backstage stairwell. Like Conan O`Brien at the Oscars this past weekend, Northlight would like to use Employee Appreciation Day to celebrate "the people you will never see". Theaters everywhere depend on technicians, administrators, and staff members who keep things running behind the scenes. We thank them for all that they do!

Directed by Jeremy Wechsler and playing at Northlight Theatre from April 10 - May 11.
Today Northlight mourns the passing of Grammy award-winning singer and pianist Roberta Flack, close friend and duet partner to Donny Hathaway. Donny is the subject of our upcoming production, Twisted Melodies, and Northlight looks forward to honoring their work on stage in a few short months.
Flack said she and Hathaway were “deeply connected creatively. He could play anything, sing anything. Our musical synergy was unlike (anything) I’d had before or since.” We hope you’ll all enjoy some of their music today in their honor.
