Mr. Dickens’ Hat

by Michael Hollinger

This reading is a part of Northlight’s Interplay Program, providing customized support for new work in the critical stages of early play development.

ABOUT THE PLAY: Experience the developmental process of a new holiday play with music! When a prized hat once worn by Charles Dickens is stolen, a young shop clerk and her friend must work together to recover it from the villainous (yet comic) thieves. Enjoy a reading of this heartwarming story with a holiday-caroling style, followed by a post-show discussion with playwright Michael Hollinger and director David Catlin (Lookingglass Alice, Frankenstein, Moby Dick).

Reading at 7:00pm. Post-show discussion with the playwright immediately following.
