North Shore Center

The North Shore Center for the Performing Arts, the facility in which Northlight is located, offers part-time positions in Box Office, Security, Operations, and Bartending. Visit their page for current opportunities.

Equity Principal Auditions for Northlight Theatre are scheduled annually through Actors’ Equity Association. Information regarding these auditions will be posted on the AEA website. 

There are no open applications at the moment, but actors may submit updated headshots and resumes to artistic@northlight.org for future consideration.

Youth Associates

Applications are now closed for the Youth Associate Positions. We will be contacting applicants about interviews and making a final hiring decision by June 10th.

Northlight Theatre does not accept unsolicited scripts. However, in an effort to support the local artistic community, we do accept unsolicited ten-page samples exclusively from writers living in Illinois. Before submitting material, we strongly encourage you to read our mission statement, research our production history, and/or see a production here in order to acquire a sense of Northlight’s interests and aesthetic.

To be considered, please send a letter of inquiry, a synopsis of your play, and a ten-page sample.
